Handling a Stubborn Child
Parenting a child – has that been a big issue for you.

Firstly let me tell you little about myself and why am I writing this article. I have a three and a half year old daughter who can definitely not be called a calm child, so have gone through a let while disciplining her, so below are some tried and tested ways in my attempt to discipline her.
1) Getting down on your Knees: One more thing that I have noticed during my interaction with my daughter is that when I go down on my knees, that’s when I go down to her level and look into her eyes and talk to her its more effective than standing and talking to her, specially when it comes to explaining her something that she is not supposed to do, try it out a few times you will see the difference.
2) Making your presence felt: Many times I have seen that there are lot of things that are not supposed to be done that my daughter does when no one is around, the moment someone is around her she wont do it, like throwing around her toys or writing on the wall, so what I have tried is when I see that she doing something like this in her room, I just casually walk into her room, not scolding her at all or not even asking her not to do it, but the moment she realizes I an in the room she stops its.
3) Saying ‘Lets do it’ rather than ‘Do it’: you all must have seen and I guess this is very common with all the children that the moment we ask them to do something, they would not do it most of the times or just simply act as if not heard it at all, instead what I have tried and have been successful is by saying that come lets clean up the room, lets see who does it faster, and it works very effectively.
Try out these small tips that I have, they have worked for me so no harm in trying it out once. I will be back again with some more tips and idea about how to deal with your child.
